IN BRIEF
Which AI should a company choose?
There is no single best AI. If your company runs on Microsoft 365, Copilot is built right in; on Google Workspace, Gemini; ChatGPT and Claude are versatile assistants, valued for writing, document analysis and code; Le Chat, from the French vendor Mistral, and Dust, a French agent platform, also meet sovereignty needs.
The choice comes down to six criteria: your work environment, where your data is hosted, connectors to your software, administration (accounts, permissions, logs), target uses and total cost. Several of these tools can now plug into your software through MCP, an open standard.
The tool matters less than how it is used: a well-chosen AI cut off from your data, with no rules or training, stays little used. That is why we start with uses, then select the tools with your IT department.
THE SIX CRITERIA
Work environment · Data hosting · Connectors · Administration · Uses · Total cost.

QUESTIONS TO ASK
Before comparing tools, look at your uses.
The questions that most often settle the choice.
ENVIRONMENT
Do your teams work in Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, or a bit of both?
DATA
What data must the AI read, and where must it stay?
USES
Writing, analysis, searching your documents, acting in your software?
SCALE
A few pioneers, or the whole company?
WHO IT’S FOR
Leadership teams and IT departments that must select one or more AI tools for the whole company, or bring order to scattered subscriptions.
THE SIX CRITERIA
Six criteria to choose with confidence.
To review with your IT department, in this order.
Your work environment
The tool that fits into your email, documents and meetings is the fastest to be adopted.
Where your data is hosted
Where data is processed and stored, and under which law: check the terms of the enterprise plan.
Connectors
AI must read your software and act in it: native connectors or MCP, an open standard your IT department controls.
Administration
Named accounts, permissions, logs, conversation retention: essential beyond a handful of users.
Target uses
Writing, analysis, document search, code, agents: the tools do not all excel at the same things.
Total cost
Licenses, but also integration, training and governance: real use is what makes the tool pay off.
TOOL BY TOOL
Six tools, their strengths.
| STRENGTH | TO CHECK | |
|---|---|---|
| Microsoft Copilot | Built into Microsoft 365: Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel. | The quality of your data and permissions in Microsoft 365. |
| ChatGPT | Versatile, widely used assistant with many features. | The enterprise plan you choose and its data terms. |
| Claude | Long-form writing, document analysis, code. | Connectors to your software, which need to be set up. |
| Gemini | Built into Google Workspace: Gmail, Docs, Drive. | The role of Google Workspace in your company. |
| Le Chat (Mistral) | French vendor, hosting options suited to sovereignty needs. | Coverage of your uses and connectors. |
| Dust | French platform for agents connected to company tools. | The work of configuring agents and sources. |
General guidance as of today; offers change fast. Check each vendor’s terms with your IT department.
OUR METHOD
Uses first, tools second.
The four steps of our method, in a loop. Each can be done on its own; together, they organize AI across the whole company.
Inspire your leadership team
A keynote built on cases from your business. Your leadership decides where AI will be useful, and where it will not.
Map your operations
We spot the bottlenecks, rank use cases by gain and difficulty, and name the tools to adopt.
Bring your teams on board
In a hands-on session, everyone arrives with a real problem and leaves with the AI agent that solves it. An AI policy sets the shared rules.
Build with the AI Factory
Our engineers build AI-ready business tools with you. You keep the keys.
YOUR QUESTIONS
Questions about choosing tools.
What is the best AI for a company?
The one that fits your work environment, respects your data rules and serves your real uses. For a company on Microsoft 365, Copilot is often the starting point; on Google Workspace, Gemini; ChatGPT and Claude remain versatile assistants.
ChatGPT or Copilot for a company?
Copilot wins when work happens in Microsoft 365 and your data is well organized there. ChatGPT suits a wider range of uses. Many companies combine both, with clear rules.
Is there a French AI for businesses?
Yes: Le Chat from Mistral, and Dust for agents connected to company tools. In particular, they meet sovereignty needs.
Should you choose a single tool?
Not necessarily. One main tool for everyone, and specialized tools for certain teams, on a short list approved by the IT department and set out in an AI policy.
Is AI Origin tied to a vendor?
No. We build on and support your teams with Claude, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT or Dust, depending on your tools. Our Company Brain platform is built on Claude; it remains optional.
How do we connect AI to our software?
Through native connectors or MCP, an open standard supported by several assistants. Your IT department approves each access. When an in-house tool does not allow it, we rebuild it AI-ready.
